This position identifies near and long-term opportunities, develops strategic partnerships, builds key customer relationships, identifies funded programs, qualifies opportunities, leads and supports capture and proposals efforts, and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. This role will work with potential and existing customers and partners, the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers to identify opportunities to increase the qualified pipeline.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience working in the federal government or in federal government consulting; a minimum of 5-7 years of experience working in or with the VA; proven experience successfully leading the capture of at least two large federal government contracts within the VA ($10 million in value or larger); proven ability to develop, maintain, and mature a qualified multi-year pipeline of new business opportunities, and notable actions to continually improve PWIN; strong relationships with existing VA customers and industry partners.
