Government Matters: HHS Digital Services team launches Quality Payment Program

“Shannon Sartin, executive director of Digital Service at HHS, discusses how rewarding Medicare providers for providing information on their successes helps patients get the care they need, and allows HHS to meet the goals of the President’s Management Agenda.”

“As outlined in the President’s Management Agenda, better service for citizens doesn’t just mean improved responsiveness. The agenda says that the amount of good outcomes from agency initiatives is also a key measure for success. At the Department of Health and Human Services, the Quality Payment Program monetarily rewards Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for the quality of their treatment, and how they use technology in their practice.” Watch the broadcast here.
