Duties
- Serve as a subject matter expert for technical infrastructure and architecture for all IT work groups and committees.
- Develop agency-wide security rules that enforce Healthcare Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) laws and regulations.
- Provide executive level managerial expertise regarding all aspects of Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) infrastructure to the entire DHA financial community.
- Develop performance objectives for and evaluates performance of subordinates.
- Provide supervisory and management oversight and expertise for current and long range programs.
- Analyze all new information system requirements, determines how those requirements can best be integrated and still be consistent with DHA long-range information systems architecture.
