Duties
- Directs, coordinates, and oversees critical operational and integration systems engineering for the Enterprise efforts to establish, maintain, and improve health records information systems, their hardware and software applications.
- Conceives, analyzes, and evaluates new concepts and combinations of advanced technologies. Establishes requirements for technologies and identifies alternatives to meet program needs.
- Evaluates and advises on the feasibility of new technology and state-of-the-art equipment for incorporation into existing systems and equipment, providing leadership in the use of prototypes.
- Develops policies, guidelines, and procedures governing the design development, testing and production of electronic medical records.
