“The incumbent serves as senior Operations Manager (OM) providing oversight for Information Technology (IT) products within the Department. The primary purpose of the position is to manage the day-to-day operational support of products including operations processes, planning, design, and operations strategy. Products evaluated refer to SPM services as it relates to both IT and traditional programs and the accomplishment, evaluation, management, and internal control reviews.”
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee budget, staffing, and contracting.
- Act as a primary stakeholder in the underlying information technology (IT) operational processes and functions that support the service, provide direction and monitor all significant activities so the service is delivered successfully.
- Work with other service managers and product owners to balance and prioritize services to meet overall customer requirements, constraints, and objectives.
- Provides business operations and services in the overall management of IT portfolios, Product Lines, products, and projects within Software Product Management.
