Cerner recruits MHS lead Patrick Sargent for SVP and GM, Cerner Government Services

Patrick Sargent, a Board Certified Executive Healthcare Administrator who has held several CEO and COO civilian equivalent positions within the Army and Military Health Systems, has taken on a new challenge as SVP and GM at Cerner Government Services. Patrick was involved with DOD’s initial deployment of MHS GENESIS at Madigan Army Medical Center.

In announcing the move on LinkedIn, Cerner Government Services President Travis Dalton wrote, “…I am also pleased to announce that Patrick Sargent, FACHE has agreed to join Cerner as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cerner Government Services. Pat is a retired U.S. Army Major General who has held multiple complex medical commands throughout his distinguished 35-year career with the DoD. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Pat over the last year and think very highly of his leadership attributes, passion for this mission, and professionalism.” See the post here.
