VA OIT seeking Senior IT Digital Specialist

“The incumbent serves as an IT Specialist, Senior IT Digital Specialist, under the Senior Director and Executive Director. The incumbent is responsible for developing strategies, planning, and execution of project management principles, methods and tools, and will be hands-on in the day-to-day execution of all aspects of the program. The incumbent will identify the most effective strategies for improving digital services across VA.”

Responsibilities:

  • Champion the use of modern digital services delivery and management approaches to strengthen the agency’s internal technical capacity
  • Use technical expertise and experience with digital delivery best practices from within and outside government, including user-centered design and development practices
  • Analyze the implementation of modernization strategies, standards, and practices across the enterprise, working collaboratively to identify and implement methods to ensure an integrated systemic approach to digital services delivery
  • Lead the development of a single user experience for customer, business, and veteran-facing digital services
  • Contribute to a talent strategy designed to provide leadership and staff with the skills to deliver world-class digital services
