VA to award contract for Social Sciences Multidisciplinary Citation Research (SSMCR) Tool

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Central Office (VACO) Library requires an existing, commercial, off-the-shelf, web-based electronic subscription to the Social Sciences Multidisciplinary Citation Research (SSMCR) Tool which will be made available to all VACO Library staff and employees. This resource will be used to answer reference questions received by VACO Library staff and by VACO employees who want to do their own research. VHA s goal is to ensure uniform availability of high quality, medical and health sciences electronic textbooks across the VHA system to improve clinical decision making.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) intends to issue a sole source contract to Clarivate Analytics for the Social Sciences Multidisciplinary Citation Research (SSMCR) Tool Subscription.
