Longtime VA cyber and security lead departs Agency

Armed with perspective gained serving 20 years in the US Air Force and then another 16 years as a civil servant in the Department of Veterans Affairs providing services and securing Veterans’ data, including recent responsibility for building VA’s Cybersecurity Operations Center and the continuation to mature its capabilities through the use of real time data, orchestration and automation, this leader has announced his retirement from Federal service, hinting at a move to industry.
