Responsibilities:
- Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as an IT Project Manager to manage a portfolio of information technology projects.
- Work closely with the VA Enterprise Architect Office to assure constant compliance of eSCM and VALOR’s architecture compliance.
- Prepare and present system engineering plans, technical presentations, analyst briefings, and white papers to respond to different solution architecture problems.
- Provide feedback and advice with respect to best practices for entire Solution Architecture, Application, Data Management, Network, Infrastructure, Security and Privacy.
- Perform a variety of administrative duties that are necessary to keep program up to date, including uploading presentations, preparing presentations, reports, and documentation.
Requirements:
- Experience with diverse IT projects both large and small
- Experience with full systems development life cycle, enterprise wide network engineering, strategic information planning, program management, business process reengineering, structure and management practices
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience in creating network architectures
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, IT, Healthcare IT, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity and 10+ years of experience in a professional work environment or 18+ years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree
- Experience with the VA
- Experience with documenting and illustrating DoDAF version 2.02 artifacts
