Responsibilities:
- Work independently to support a portfolio of HHS projects.
- Responsible for overall staffing for portfolio of projects; developing job requirements, interviewing, and making final staffing selections.
- Responsible for personnel management for portfolio of projects; supporting HR requests, providing feedback and oversight, and engagement with professional development and growth.
- Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and other reports.
- Organize, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings.
- Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will possess thorough knowledge of Project Management/Administrative best practices as well as experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
- The position requires the application of extensive experience and seasoned judgment together with a broad knowledge and understanding of business systems, elements of good management, organization and management..
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience managing Federal contracts, preferably within HHS.
