The Vice President, Solutions is responsible for the overall design of consumer engagement and eligibility/enrollment solutions for Federal and State clients. The solutions that you will craft can involve telephony, customer relationship management, omnichannel customer support, enrollment and eligibility processing. You will be responsible for creating elegant solutions that meet the client requirements while being competitive. The holistic solutions you develop are not just IT or process, but complete operational solutions inclusive of the people, the methods, and the technologies. You will be able to discuss the value-add features and benefits of your solution and explain why it not just meets client needs – but is the one that will best provide the solution they need. You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities to leverage new technology and practices to better serve clients, enhance system/process efficiency and create a competitive advantage. You will work collaboratively with other growth team members, application development teams, infrastructure engineers, the PMO office and business units. The ideal candidate will be creative in developing solutions for difficult tasks and will have a winning attitude. The candidate must be able to communicate their ideas both orally and in writing as well as demonstrate the differentiating characteristics of their proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop current and future state architectures that advance customer experiences, organizational excellence, and brand growth
- Make recommendations regarding strategic architectural considerations related to technology direction and standards
- Understand business models, including processes, application architectures, and supporting systems to define and design solutions that will work within the enterprise environment and satisfy the business requirements
- Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science/Information and telecommunications system management or related degree
- 5+ years in solution development, 10+ years preferred.
- Years of experience can substitute for education.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cloud architecture, data processing systems, database systems, and web services
- Understanding and experience in design and development of enterprise architecture, principles, practices and standards as they relate to the Federal enterprise architecture process preferred
