NIH National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases taps new Infrastructure and Operations leader

Robert Flowers, armed with perspective gained supporting HHS for more than a decade, has taken on a new challenge as Lead Information Technology Specialist driving Infrastructure and Operations at the National Institutes of Health National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases.

Robert brings recent experience supervising hosting operations of 16 Federal and 50 contractor IT Specialists in project planning, developing, delivering, and supporting a full range of Unix, Windows, Sharepoint, SQL, Oracle, MySQL and Web services. Customer base of over 200 across 1500+ servers.

Prior roles include:

  • Deputy Service Area Manager – HHS
  • Sr Unix System Administrator – HHS
  • Sr. Unix Administrator – NICHD
