“Leidos is looking for a Chief Architect (CA) to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA). DHA desires to establish an Enterprise IT Services (EITS) Environment using a Multi-sourcing Services Integrator (MSI) approach to centralize enterprise controls to better coordinate, integrate, and manage service delivery and activities.”
“Under this MSI approach, the Chief Architect will work with DHA’s Enterprise Solutions Architecture, Business Analytics Division (ESA-BAD) to provide architectural standards and management guidance to integrate architecture designs and service delivery across the enterprise from internal and external service providers. The goal is to assist DHA increase standardization on service design and delivery; ensure service compliance with DHA’s business strategy and processes; and facilitate approved change to maximize value that benefits the DHA enterprise.”
Responsibilities:
- Provides expertise in the development and execution of business and financial solutions that adhere to government and industry best practices and standards.
- Serve as the expert on topics related to business process, service management, portfolio management, capital planning and investment/budgetary control.
- Serve as the technical expert on topics related to governance frameworks and organizational decision-making models.
- Serve as an advisor to senior leadership regarding the business and financial aspects of the organization.
- Provides a wide range of business and financial expertise to assist senior leadership in shaping and achieving the organization’s strategic vision, operational and tactical goals.
- Mentors and coaches other technical staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 17+ years’ relevant experience or a Master’s degree and 15+ years’ relevant experience.
- Provide a wide-range of business and financial expertise for shaping and achieving strategic vision, operational, and tactical goals.
- Ability to communicate with senior executive leadership regarding matters of technical importance to the program.
- Experience in managing large Enterprise IT infrastructure operations including implementation of ITIL best practices.
