HHS recruits DOI IT Lead as new Chief Information Officer for Western Region

Jeffry White, a rising information technology professional, has taken on a new challenge with the Department of Health and Human Services serving in the Department’s Phoenix Area Office as the Chief Information Officer for the region. Before joining HHS, he spent 10 years serving DOI in a series of progressively responsible IT roles.

Jeffry brings expertise in provisioning and maintaining both infrastructure and end user equipment for thousands of users for a wide range of products, managing numerous IT projects for both large and small organizations, and negotiating government contracts.

Prior roles include:

  • Supervisory Information Technology Specialist/ Regional IT Manager for Western Region – Department of the Interior (DOI)
  • Information Technology Liaison (Bureau of Indian Education) – Department of the Interior (DOI)
  • Information Technology Specialist (Field Operations) – Department of the Interior (DOI)
