Recent HHS SAMHSA Acting CIO and IT Clearance Officer takes new role with Library of Congress

Ting Dai brings the recent experiences he has gained with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) as an Information Technology Clearance Officer responsible for reviewing and clearing all Government contracts that have IT components, to this new Information Technology Supervisor role at the Library of Congress.

Ting also brings experience gained as an Acting Chief Information Officer (CIO) leading and managing the entire IT division in cybersecurity, application development, help desk support, infrastructure provision, and policy and planning.

Prior roles include:

  • Acting Chief Information Officer and IT Clearance Officer– HHS SAMHSA
  • Geographic Information System Specialist/Manager – USDA
  • Chief Scientist and Information Technology Manager – Tetra Tech
