Altarum is seeking a Health Research Consultant to help grow our public health research and consulting business. The position will be located in Ann Arbor, Michigan and will focus on providing business development support to our state our federal government programs in behavioral health, maternal and children’s health, veteran’s and military health, health information technology, and clinical quality improvement. The Health Research Consultant will be expected to research contract and grant opportunities, manage proposals in response to government solicitations, proactively develop and cultivate relationships with key healthcare customers, partners, and other stakeholders. We are looking for candidates with government programs and proposal experience who are passionate about working to improve the public health and health outcomes for all citizens.
- Help to identify, qualify, and pursue new government business opportunities aligned with Altarum health solutions.
- Leverage new and existing relationships to develop and cultivate strategic partnerships

Required:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree in Public Health or Public Policy preferred
- 2-4 years of experience supporting state and/or federal health (or related) proposals, federal or state health projects, or closely aligned business development or capture activities in healthcare or public health
