Defense Health Agency taps new Program Operations Branch Chief

John Dempsey, armed with perspective gained supporting the Systems Engineering Infrastructure, PMO with DHMSM takes on a new role supporting the Defense Health Agency. John’s experience includes providing network engineering management in support of DoD EHR hardware, software and middleware assets, and offering Business, Technical and Product Delivery support for Pharmacy, Radiology, Virtual Health and Laboratory Systems, before that.

In his new position he will be focused on executing the IT service lifecycle from technical requirements gathering and development through design, testing, evaluation, deployment and transition of solutions.

Prior roles include:

  • Systems Engineering Infrastructure, PMO DHMSM – Defense Health Agency
  • Strategy, Plans and Functional Integration – Defense Health Agency
  • Business Operations – Potomac Healthcare Solutions
