LMI seeking Market Leader- Civilian Health (CMS), Director

“The Director level position leads LMI’s civilian health practice including the current portfolio and a focus on growth.  The current practice has projects within The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).  Moving forward there is a key focus on expanding and growing the portfolio.” 

“Responsibilities 

The incumbent will manage a portfolio of existing contracts at HHS with an annual revenue value in excess of $70M.  Responsibilities include: 

  • Overall responsibility for Profit and Loss in assigned market; 
  • Cost/schedule/technical/risk/quality management of current contracts; 
  • Management of assigned project managers and consulting staff; and growing existing work 
  • Meeting all assigned corporate metrics (financial, quality, etc.); 
  • Driving work to LMI held contracting vehicles, e.g., MIDS, RMADA…” 

“The incumbent shall develop an overarching business strategy to support the growth of the current portfolio in CMS and beyond to a more robust HHS wide portfolio. 

  • Developing and implementing a vision and strategy for growth HHS wide; 
  • Management of all re-compete activities; 
  • Identifying government wide vehicles LMI should be a part of and developing a method to gain a position on those same vehicles…” 

“Qualifications 

Required skills include: 

  • Demonstrated success growing and managing a portfolio of greater than $75M/year in the federal health space with specific focus on knowledge of HHS; 
  • Proven track record of managing T&M and FFP contracts effectively; 
  • Proven track record of effectively utilizing IDIQ vehicles to create business opportunities; 
  • Proven ability to pursue, shape and win new work at HHS and related markets 
  • Active network of professional contracts in the HHS market space…
