Acting Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs exits

Terry Adirim, MD, Acting Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs

“Yesterday was my last day working for the Military Health System. These last almost four years at the Department of Defense has been the highlight of my career. The nation should be grateful for the many dedicated mission-driven people who work very hard to ensure that our uniformed medical forces are ready to care for our soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines and their families. Thank you for the privilege of serving. Looking forward to my next chapter in my career!”

Dr Adirim will be “starting as Senior Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs, Professor of Pediatrics and Chair Department of Integrated Medicine Sciences at Florida Atlantic University College of Medicine in February”.
