Press Release: DSS, Inc. Awarded VA Fee Basis Claims Follow-On Contract

“The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) processes approximately $5 billion per year in healthcare payments to non-VA providers that support Veterans seeking treatment for various health related issues.”

“A critical component in making these claims processing efforts occur is the DSS Fee Basis Claims System (FBCS) software, a claims management system that offers improved accuracy and timeliness of claims processing.”

“In keeping with this effort, the VA recently announced that DSS will continue to provide FBCS software, maintenance and technical support. The contract will offer ongoing support of 142 FBCS licenses in use within the 142 fee offices across VA.”

“The required routine software maintenance and technical support will include periodic updates, upgrades, enhancements and corrections. DSS will also provide software bug fixes, telephone and email support of the FBCS product, and technical support for non-Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VISTA) interfaces and other interfaces supported by VA Interface Control Registries.” Read the full press release here.
