VA taps Deputy Director for Patient Experience

Michael Renfrow, a leader in patient experience, customer experience, leadership coaching, strategic planning, change management, and enterprise-wide program management, who has supported VA through a series of progressively responsible roles including most recently leading a team of 14 Patient Experience (PX) Coaches/Consultants responsible for implementing PX solutions across the VA healthcare system (147 VA Medical Centers), has taken on a new role as Deputy Director for Patient Experience with Veterans Affairs.

Prior roles include:

  • Chief Consultant, VA Patient Experience Program – U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Senior Advisor – U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Deputy Director for Plans (Plans Chief) – U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
