“The position performs as IT Program Manager within the Technology and Integration Office for the Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization (OEHRM), within the Office of the Deputy Secretary of VA. The VA OEHRM ensures VA successfully prepares for, deploys, and transitions to, a new EHR system. OEHRM ensures the modernized EHR system is positioned to meet VA needs, and enables seamless delivery of healthcare to Veterans and qualified beneficiaries.”
“Responsibilities:
- Serves as a highly skilled and experienced Testing Manager with independent responsibility over the development of OEHRM TIO testing actions responding to the indepth and specific testing requirements of the multi-agency EHRM program.
- Owns the performance of tester and evaluator technical and administrative tasks associated with proponent areas, for test or experimental test design, and evaluation, planning, prioritization, management, resource estimation, developing and administering a continuous program designed to modernize the EHR system.
- Manages testing plans and processes, validates that test equities are accounted for and balanced with functional testing requirements, and supports and evaluates the required testing deliverables in the Cerner contract.
- Oversees in-depth testing requirements of OEHRM and accounts for IT solutions compliance with requirements and quality standards.
- Owns and manages the end-to-end testing resources and test environment for OEHRM TIO products, to include the creation and management of comprehensive automated and/or manual test plans, the development of test criteria and data, and the implementation and maintenance of existing testing systems in partnership with the OEHRM T&E team…”
