VA OSIC Taps Veterans Experience Chief to drive improved Customer Experience

Melanie O’Conor, an experienced Government leader skilled in Customer Experience, Human Centered Design, Customer Insights, Regulatory Analysis, Community Engagement, and Policy Analysis, who previously led a team of GS-13 and GS-14 analysts focused on helping the Veterans Experience Office (VEO) ensure business discipline in project, program, and portfolio management, has taken on a new challenge as Assistant Director of Customer Experience for the Office of Strategic Initiatives and Collaboration (OSIC) at VA.

Prior roles include:

  • Chief, Veterans Experience Portfolio Management Operations – U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Chief, Veterans Experience Portfolio Intake – U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Acting Chief of Policy and Procedures, Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) Service – VBA
