Livanta is looking for a Director of Business Development – State & Local Healthcare. This individual will be responsible for crafting the strategy for taking Livanta’s success in the Medicare market and applying it to the State & Local markets. This individual will be responsible for developing and managing a team of research analysts, business developers and support team in order to operationalize the strategy. The Director of Business Development – S&L Healthcare will be responsible for developing and managing the pipeline and ultimately winning business across a select set of States.
The candidate will regularly interact with Livanta’s executive and sales teams and will be responsible for developing customer relationships at the State level. Interactions at the State level will include understand the specific needs of the State level agencies, communicating Livanta’s solutions, and influencing senior leaders regarding matters of importance to the State.Job Duties:
- Identify and develop new State & Local markets and opportunities to develop a business pipeline and drive new business
- Develop and maintain relationships with State level agencies, teaming partners and other stakeholders
Education and Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have an understanding the State Medicaid and Healthcare services.
- Knowledge of State & Local government procurement practices and business development life cycle
- Experience conducting sales, business development or capture activities in the State & Local sector
- Knowledge of healthcare solutions that State & Local governments require
- Proven experience developing opportunities from inception through bid and proposal
