CDC RFI: Enterprise Data Transport

The purpose of this notice is to acquire information from the industry about commercially available Managed File Transfer (MFT) or MFT class of products that can provide a comprehensive set of functionalities (out of the box or configurable) to meet Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Enterprise Data Transport needs. CDC desires to modernize its existing decade old public health data transport solution capabilities (i.e. Public Health Network Messaging System (PHINMS)) and is looking for an alternative solution based on mainstream technologies and industry-standard approaches that meets the needs of the broader CDC and public health community. The desired MFT solution should not be just a public health-specific solution, but also meet the general CDC use cases.
