Press Release: LMI Selected to Develop the Joint Health Risk Management Enhanced Capability Demonstration

“LMI today announced it will develop a toolkit to enable more accurate and timely documentation of occupational and environmental health risks facing U.S. service members. The toolkit is part of an integrated prototype for the Joint Health Risk Management Enhanced Capability Demonstration (JHRM ECD). JHRM ECD is conducted through a memorandum of agreement among the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Defense; the Defense Health Agency; and U.S. Special Operations Command. The $12.8 million contract has a three-year performance period.”

“In the field, the toolkit would provide commanders with improved situational awareness and a suite of risk management tools. Additional capabilities would include automated health risk assessments, information management applications, and monitoring algorithms—tracking a service member’s exposure to toxic industrial chemicals, radiation, blast overpressure, and other hazards. Intended toolkit users include the military services, combatant commands, and the Department of Veterans Affairs as well as U.S. allies…” Read the full press release here.
