Microsoft has recruited industry veteran Patricia Obermaier as their Vice President for US Health and Life Sciences

Patricia Obermaier, a senior executive who has held positions within health care, information technology and professional services organizations, and has had responsibility for driving strategic direction, market and business development and P&L management for several highly successful Government health players, has taken on a new role as Vice President, US Health and Life Sciences for Microsoft.

In her new role, Patricia will be leading the US sales strategy for Microsoft, to include driving digital transformation across customers and partners within the health and life sciences marketplace, while being responsible for the 400+ sales organization and $3.5B in revenue.

Prior roles include:

  • CEO and Founder – Resigility LLC
  • Head of US Payer, Provider and Government Markets – IMS Health
  • Partner, Health and Human Services – Unisys
