CMS amends contract for Enrollment Workstation (EWS), Issuance Workstation (IWS), Registrar Support, Fingerprinting, e-QIP, Front-end PIV Credentialing and Adjudication Support Services

Re: Solicitation Number: 190917

This is a modification to a GSA Task Order. The T&M award was based on competition via GSA MOBIS 874-1.

Five (5) small businesses were identified for quotation. This GSA T&M order type is considered to be the most appropriate for this requirement as the quantity and exact type of work required under this contract is difficult to estimate with exact certainty. This type of task order has proven to be successful given the nature of work that the contractor was performing.

There is a significant variability within the Contractor resources required in order to make the following function properly: Enrollment Workstation (EWS), Issuance Workstation (IWS), Registrar Services and the Enhancement of the Smart Card Management System (SCMS). The purposes of this modification are to: 1. Change the Statement of Work in accordance with FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial (JAN 2017); 2. In accordance with FAR 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract, Exercise Option Year 2, as changed, with a period of performance of September 10, 2019 – September 9, 2020; and add a new Telecommunications clause.
