DHA adds longtime HHS lead and Pharmacy SME as advisor on data systems infrastructure, information flow and EHR

Long Pham, whose experience includes bridging the knowledge gap for Healthcare and IT professionals to collaborate efficiently and incorporated health IT trends to improve patient health outcomes while reducing the operational cost, has taken on a new role with DHA as Principal Technical IT and Health IT Advisor. Through this role he will Advise on multifaceted healthcare data systems infrastructure and information flow which includes the DoD and VA electronic health record (EHR), responsible for enterprise-wide architecture development, engineering, planning and implementation on Health IT related activities.

Prior roles include:

  • National Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA) Team Lead – SAMHSA
  • Chief Pharmacy and National Clinical Pharmacy Consultant – HHS
  • Program Manager, Division of Logs, Support Branch – HHS
