CMS seeking Chief Information Security Officer

“As the Director, Information Security and Privacy Group, Office of Information Technology/CMS Chief Information Security Officer, you will provide leadership and executive direction for the planning, coordination, and control of Information System Security and Privacy CMS-wide including security and privacy measures for all computers, electronic storage devices, and communication systems.” 

“You will be an advocate for CMS’ total information security needs and provide executive vision and leadership in information technology (IT) security and privacy policy and guidance. You will be accountable for driving leadership performance and assuring the information security and governance strategy is consistent with CMS’ current business needs as well as its long-term goals. The complexity of this position will require a leadership approach that is imaginative and collaborative, including the ability to work with other leaders to set the best balance between security strategies and other agency priorities.”
