VA RFI: Enterprise Services Integrated Platform (ESIP)

The ES API Transformation unified concept effort will align and consolidate VA enterprise shared services into one forward facing, future-state API management platform that improves the interaction of the programs to improve the flow of information from VA to the Veteran. Modernizing ES APIs will provide a pathway to innovation and streamlining services to the Veteran by increasing visibility and accessibility of Veteran data and services.

Note that the Phases of ESIP are expected to be non-sequential with various components overlapping based on differing levels of preparedness of the product lines to engage in API Transformation components (e.g. differing times when product lines on-board into ESIP in Phase 0 will impact the speed at which those systems are initiated into Phase 1 activity):

The Contractor shall provide production and non-production support services, O&M support, project management and reporting, software and web service development, partner/system coordination, software integration, testing, release management, technical support, training and content management, systems engineering, development / enhancements / modernization, and documentation to support the ES processes and Veterans Focused Integrated Process (VIP) requirements in accordance with the Agile Process.
