Rising MHS CIO and IT Leader moves to DHA

Having previously been hand-selected by the Bureau of Medicine and Navy Medicine West as a Chief Information Officer, Yuri Nyberg, will bring a range of experience including project and program management, establishment of regional health care networks and health service support information services, and the deployment and operation of U.S. Navy field medical facilities, to the new role with DHA.

Prior roles include:

  • Hand-selected by the Bureau of Medicine and Navy Medicine West as a Chief Information Officer to facilitate Navy Medicine’s transformation and maintain continuity into an enterprise centric organization for maximum retention during the Department of Defense’s upgrade to the newly acquired 13.1-billion-dollar Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Hand-picked as the Chief Information Officer at the NATO Role 3 Multinational Medical Unit (MMU).
  • Program Manager, Enterprise Service Operations Center, Southwest Region USA – US Navy
