“The Federal CIO Authorization Act of 2018 recently passed the House of Representatives unanimously. The legislation looks to elevate the role of the federal CIO in the government, as well as grant them new authorities. Rep. Will Hurd (R-TX) co-sponsored the bill along with Rep. Robin Kelly (D-IL).
