POLITICO: Will border wall complicate FDA funding?

“This is the week the clock was supposed to tick in Washington as funding for seven spending bills, including one that funds the FDA, was being held hostage by a Democrats vs. White House dispute over how much money to put toward the Department of Homeland Security for President Donald Trump’s border wall with Mexico. There’s a good chance that will now stretch out a week or two as Washington (and the country) hits pause to remember former President George H.W. Bush this week. Trump seemed open to a two-week CR, punting the fight until after the late resident’s funeral.”
