VA issues RFI for Laboratory System Reengineering Project Remote Hosting for the Alpha site

In Fiscal Year (FY) 2008, the VA Laboratory Systems Re-engineering Project (LSRP) selected Cerner’s Millennium PathNet solution LIMS, heretofore known as Millennium solution, as the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

Phase II involves the implementation of the full Millennium Helix configuration developed in the Phase I non-production environment into the current Huntington VAMC non- production and production environments.  All the genomic labs will be configured to operate in the non-production environment then, following successful testing and validation, will be implemented into the production environment.

The Contractor shall maintain the Cerner Millennium PathNet LIMS, heretofore known as Millennium, for the LSRP Alpha site and provide the following capabilities and services: monthly progress and on-boarding requirement reports, remote hosting, disaster recovery support, technical support, system security, network connectivity, application support requirements, testing, capacity planning, and operations & maintenance.
