The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is retiring the IBM Rational DOORS application software, and it is being replaced by the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) at CMS.
The vendor selected to handle this task shall perform this mass DOORS backup effort, and shall come up with the customization requirements necessary for extracting the requirements out of DOORS, which depict possibly developing a DOORS Extraction Language (DXL) script to handle this task if deem necessary. They also will customize the backup storage requirements onto a backup media that CMS determine deem is appropriate, and they will lead the effort to recover the requirements in a readable format so the stakeholders could identify their requirements.
The vendor shall provide the CMS employees with written guidance directions for the future requirement recovering efforts, and shall make sure the requirements meet CMS security standards while replacing them onto an appropriate storage media.
