The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Office of Health Informatics (OHI) significant mission element is to provide the VHA Under Secretary for Health with oversight and analysis of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Information Technology (IT) programs and the VA efforts to provide IT services and products to VHA.
The Agency has issued an RFI seeking a contractor to provide resources necessary to accomplish tasks and deliverables described in this PWS in support of the VHA IT programs. The contractor’s responsibilities include:
- Analyze, develop, organize and maintain a format to report IT Governance discussions, decisions, action items, and execution.
- Support Committees and Workgroups through topic development, calendar coordination, and reports on action items from the meetings.
- Provide administrative and analytical support to include: attending meetings, presentation preparation, speaker presentation reviews, tracking action items, and overseeing workgroup activities.
- Analyze and report on issues including budgetary requirements, programs, and field funding requirements, and funding policies and directives funding policies and directives particularly Directive 6008, Directive 6550, and IT Appropriation Law, and provide input to federal budgetary documentation for Congress and Office of Management and Budget.
The period of performance shall be a twelve (12) month base year, plus three (3) one (1) year option periods, if exercised.
