HHS SAMHSA Exec moves over to lead U.S. Energy Information Administration Resource and Technology Management efforts

Michael Corriere, who was most recently the Deputy Director, Center for Behavioral Health Statistics and Quality with SAMHSA, has taken on a new role as Assistant Administrator for Resource and Technology Management. In this new role he will lead and direct all of EIA’s mission support functions, including workforce recruitment and development, IT infrastructure and security, financial and contract administration, and a range of logistical support activities; and integrate EIA’s long-term planning activities across administrative and programmatic functions and serves as the agency’s senior representative on cross-cutting Departmental committees and forums.

Prior roles held include:

  • Chief, Management Services, NHLBI
  • Operations Research Analyst – National Nuclear Security Administration
