CMS issues sources sought for Marketplace Assister Technical Support

CMS has issued a sources sought notice to identify a source “to provide assistance to the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) to update existing WBTs that are compatible with the Marketplace Learning Management System (MLMS) and to provide ongoing technical assistance to the in-person assister community. At a minimum, the following knowledge and experience are required:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the ACA and Exchanges, commercial individual and small group health insurance markets, Medicaid, CHIP, other relevant insurance programs in States across the country.
  • Extensive knowledge of best practices in outreach, education and enrollment, including hard to enroll or vulnerable populations.
  • Comprehensive familiarity with the Affordable Care Act as well as related regulations and sub-regulatory guidance relating to the FFE…”

Responses are due by June 7, 2018.
