Press Release: NCI Awarded $44 Million HHS PERM RC Contract to Help CMS Report Improper Payments

“RESTON, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–NCI, Inc., a leading provider of advanced information technology solutions and professional services to U.S. Federal Government agencies, announced today that it has been named the Payment Error Rate Measurement Review Contractor (PERM RC) as part of a five-year prime contract valued at $44 million with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Under the contract, NCI will perform claims review to support the national-level improper payment rates for Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), which will be reported to Congress as required by the Improper Payments Elimination and Recovery Act of 2010.
