VA issues RFI related to Data Migration Market Research

“Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) is seeking information concerning the availability of capable contractors to provide data migration services, maintenance and technical support for migrating data from the current deployed Fee Basis Claims System (FBCS) (26 sets of servers) into the existing dedicated and accredited centralized FBCS system located at the Austin Information Technical Center (AITC).”

“The contractor shall provide the following: Data mapping between the current 26 separate database servers and the corresponding Image database, and the existing dedicated and accredited centralized database server; proposed migration plan / with a proposed schedule; proposed testing plan and schedule for testing; proposed method to continuously update information from the 26 sets of servers to the centralized FBCS server.”

Responses are due by May 15, 2018.
