VA issues RFI for DMD Cloud Support Services

VA has issued an RFI related to its Enterprise Cloud Demand Management Division (DMD) Cloud Support Services to identify “technical support services in support of all Cloud services levels, to include: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS). The support shall include cloud migration, IT and cloud security, IT governance and strategy, IT modernization engineering and operational program management services.”

“VA requires cloud support services (CSS) to assist VA in reviewing, validating, and recommending improvements for planning, assessment, execution support, operations, and enhancement of VA cloud computing capabilities. Tasks will include: Supporting the implementation of the Cloud Governance Plan Review, analyze, and recommend enhancements to VAEC architecture, requirements, designs, and operations; monitoring and tracking VAEC applications and operational performance; reviewing and verifying the quality of the implementation of service requests; analyzing current VAEC account management practices and recommend improvements.”

Responses are due by May 1, 2018.
