VA issues RFI related to Workers Compensation Information Management System

VA has issued an RFI seeking an enterprise-level system that supports effective case management, enables all reporting required under the law, is user-friendly, and performs its functions related to Workers Compensation as appropriate to the sensitivity of the data being managed.

The scope of this initiative is “to implement a Department-wide web-based solution that will enable consistent, accurate management and reporting of safety and worker s compensation data. The solution will reside on a virtual server behind the VA firewall. The system will enable: Compliance with related Federal rules and regulations; complete case data transfer from legacy management information system; access from every VA work location, including remote worksites; anonymous, non-attributional reporting of unsafe or unhealthful working conditions….”
