VA issues RFI seeking Fractal Governance Implementation

VA has issued a sources sought/RFI whose purpose “is twofold: 1) conduct market research to obtain information pertaining to industry capabilities for implementation of a fractal governance model in a large organization (over 300,000 employees) with repeating structures at clinic, hospital, regional and national level to oversee quality, safety, access and satisfaction outcomes and improvement; and 2) determine the acquisition strategy (including Veteran-owned, Service-disabled Veteran-owned, and other small business participation, and vehicles and methods to acquire the services).”

“VA requires experts working with clinical and governance operational components of the Department in the areas of: partnership development, labor management relations, training, communications, governance, risk assessment and management, commercial and government, human centered design, organizational design, performance management, data analysis, clinical operations, and change management. The Contractor shall provide the services of a cadre of highly successful and knowledgeable contractor resources and Commercial* Health Industry Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to provide direct expert advice and assistance in support of the Department s mission-oriented business and clinical functions key to achieving desired outcomes. It shall work closely with the highest levels of the Organization to provide assessment, planning, training, and implementation of a fractal approach to governance across the organization.”

Responses are due by April 11, 2018.
