PEO DHMS seeks Supervisory Engineer for EHR Modernization

This position is the Supervisory Engineer for the Program Executive Office (PEO) for Defense Healthcare Management Systems (DHMS) supported by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) for personnel and logistics functions. The mission of PEO DHMS is to transform the delivery of healthcare and advance data sharing through a modernized electronic health record for service members, veterans and their families. PEO DHMS reports directly to the Under Secretary of Defense (USD) for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (AT&L). The PEO supports military medical readiness and quality health care services for military personnel, their families, and other beneficiaries through an Electronic Health Records (EHR) modernization initiative called MHS GENESIS and interoperability with the Department of Veterans Affairs and commercial Health Information Exchanges. The program office is geographically located in Rosslyn, Virginia.

  • Review, evaluate and develop material acquisition issues that may impact engineering objectives or schedules.
