This position is responsible for business development in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) Agency. The Business Development Manager (BDM) will focus on identifying, qualifying, and winning new business contracts of significant value. The Business Development Manager leads new business development efforts with a primary strategic focus on positioning and capturing opportunities within CMS. The Business Development Manager will operate within the overall business development processes, philosophy and policies for CACI.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifies, qualifies, and pursues CMS funded programs with a value of $50M to $100M and above.
- Assists in developing and executing activities to support the Health BD team, including: processes and systems for collection, interpretation, and dissemination of customer and market data in service of building a robust opportunity pipeline and processes and systems for tracking progress towards and achievement of business development plan strategic objectives.
- Assists the Health BD Market Lead, BD E Vice President and other Healthcare BD Executives in developing the strategy for the CMS sub-market sector and to support CACI’s long term business strategy.
- Collaborates with internal departments, develops and maintains a “Value added” working relationship with CACI line organizations including Business Group executives, Capture Managers, and Proposal Managers; conducts competitive assessments on specific opportunities; makes recommendations on teaming partners and draft teaming agreements appropriate for specific opportunities; stays abreast of CACI technical offerings, successes, and breakthroughs.
