Summary
This position is located in the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Network under the policy guidance and direction of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (ASD (HA)). The DHA is responsible for the effective execution and operation of the Department of Defense (DoD) worldwide medical mission, which is to provide medical services and support to specified categories of individuals entitled to DoD medical care.
Duties
- Plans, organizes, and directs the operations for the Defense Health Network including, but not limited to current and future business operations, resource mgmt., info. mgmt., human capital mgmt., strategic planning, and process improvement functions.
- Leads workgroups and planning teams focused on significant issues directly impacting the organization’s structure and mission accomplishment.
- Serves as advisor for the Defense Health Network Director for all assigned roles, missions, functions, tasks, and operations.
