CDC taps Associate Director, Health Systems and Sustainability

Melinda (Mindy) Hochgesang, an effective public health professional in strategic information, has taken on a new role as Associate Director, Health Systems and Sustainability at the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention. Melinda brings experience in monitoring and evaluation, health information systems, research and evaluation, strategic planning and program management. Her experience spans more than 15 years in domestic and international (low-resourced) settings with national governments, non-governmental organizations, and technical assistance agencies.

Prior roles include:

  • Senior Director, Measurement and Evidence for Learning and Impact – Global Communities
  • Director, Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning – Project Concern International
  • Senior Advisor, Monitoring and Evaluation; Team Lead, Monitoring and Country Support – Research Triangle Institute
