Analytica is seeking a remote/ hybrid Director of Engineering with hands-on Java or Scala expertise to support across various long-term federal government customer engagements in the Washington DC metro area. Ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with clients in both a consulting and delivery capacity to tackle complex, software engineering modernization projects.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, SREs, and support engineers to provide exceptional service and support to our federal customers
- Develop solution architecture for web and data applications ensuring they adhere to requirements, principles, technology recommendations and patterns, tools and methods for analysis and decision making
- Design, develop, and maintain code that meets requirements, is high quality, and performs efficiently and effectively to provide a great customer experience.
- Support innovations, defining future state business models, supporting solution and project teams in the implementations, and defining technical reference architecture
